Hi Erin,
For almost three years a group of residents in Utica NY has tried to prevent our downtown from being bulldozed for a hospital district. We are now over 4,000 on our Facebook Group called "#NoHospitalDowntown". Our story is also posted on two websites; www.NoHospitalDowntown.com and www.BetterUticaDowntown.com
Small businesses and property owners in a 25-acre downtown neighborhood are threatened with eminent domain, while the hospital owns 64-acres on a campus just 1-3/4 miles away.
Politicians and economic developers, exactly like those in "Little Pink House", are behind this scheme.
Perhaps you'd offer us a word of hope, or maybe more?
Thank you for both your time and consideration.
S.O.S. Utica, NY,
Brett Truett, Co-founder

PS- Maybe you'd just join us as a group member of Facebook? If so we are here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/981175865279398
As we post this letter, we're reading this “Little Pink House” Is Like “Erin Brockovich” for Eminent Domain. Please note, #NoHospitalDowntown is not opposed to a new hospital, just the location. Read all the Voices who agree with us.
