LSU University Medical Center & New Orleans VA, Louisiana

We are looking at this example, but in no way does this match Utica's situation. These two hospitals use over 40 city blocks, and appear to have 7 parking garages, have a look at NBBJ's Louisiana State University Academic Medical Center Master Plan

This proposed benchmark is NOT in the downtown, Central Business District, it is Southeast of downtown NOLA...

Utica is not the only city where political and other forces first destroyed a neighborhood and then built a new one. Learn about Big Charity (Trailer), where perfectly good, but older, hospital was "left for dead", along with a complete neighborhood. Voters and residents had no say, because others whom knew better had their own plans, read Why Was New Orleans’s Charity Hospital Allowed to Die?.

Don't destroy Utica's Downtown Utica's Columbia Lafayette Neighborhood, there's 64 acres at St. Luke's on a green hilltop!

No Studies, No Reports, thus we remain #NoHospitalDowntown
