Grow A Pair, AND Grow Utica!

We’ve heard this a couple times, “If you don’t place the new hospital downtown, you’ll lose the funding!” It's 'Albany's Demand' placed onto our local leadership's plates. So we are left to wonder... is local hospital leadership, our local decision making, being performed by weak individuals? Who's really looking after our hospital situation, planning? We have the impression they're weak and they're looking to sell Utica short and we don't like it one bit!

May we suggest that our Regional Government and Hospital leadership (small capital intended) grow a pair and tell Cuomo that the state’s $300M will be used to annex St. Luke’s property into Utica and invested to improve that campus’ ability to expand healthcare for the entire Mohawk Valley Region.

Local leaders at all levels should grow a pair of antlers or take a lesson from Popeye and eat some spinach. Grow a pair and grow Utica!- don’t shrink the tax base by selling out downtown Utica by building an unneeded and ill-conceived medical district.

So grow a pair, and grow Utica! Do it and tell Our New York State Governor
