In 2017 candidates running for office approached our group. They didn't agree a hospital in downtown was a good idea, so we joined in to support each other. We spent most our time and small budget fighting the political establishment who protested the notion of a "NoHospital Dwtn" political party. We had to go to court, but we won, 'NO HOSPITAL DOWNTOWN' PARTY WINS IN COURT'! While candidates were not successful, we garnered continuous headlines, and our Facebook membership grew from under 500, to over 2,500!
Downtown hospital Support Is Highly Contrived, while regular citizens and taxpayers offer many Voices Shouting #NoHospitalDowntown!
