#NoHospitalDowntown Candidates

In 2017 candidates running for office approached our group. They didn't agree a hospital in downtown was a good idea, so we joined in to support each other. We spent most our time and small budget fighting the political establishment who protested the notion of a "NoHospital Dwtn" political party. We had to go to court, but we won, 'NO HOSPITAL DOWNTOWN' PARTY WINS IN COURT'! While candidates were not successful, we garnered continuous headlines, and our Facebook membership grew from under 500, to over 2,500!

Downtown hospital Support Is Highly Contrived, while regular citizens and taxpayers offer many Voices Shouting #NoHospitalDowntown!

June 10, 2018 - Our current Governor boasted-out this statement, $300 Million for Utica Hospital... to build a modern and efficient hospital in downtown..., so were very anxious for a new one. We like this guy...

Meet the NoHospital Dwtn Team. We believe right up until election night, you'll see candidates signing Our Pledge!

August 25, 2017 - New voices seek to protect the Columbia Lafayette Neighborhood...

August 25, 2017 - Following the party's press announcement NoHospital Dwtn To Hold Rally we gathered in Downtown Utica, as two more candidates sign the new party's pledge...

While a late start prevents signature collection process, other candidates are signing the pledge to help protect taxpayers from the pending healthcare and parking garage boondoggle.

August 9, 2017 - Meanwhile over at the Oneida County Board of Elections we see... well, we'll have more on this guy later, but...

Excuse us Mr. Karp, but we beg to differ. Do you have little faith in the will of the people? Or maybe you too live in a political bubble? One of those that clings to the past, and holding our region back in the dark ages? Maybe you just missed all the news headlines?

Thank you WUTR and Grace Fernandez @GFernandez_WUTR as we appear on cnyhomepage.com...

Thank you Joleen Ferris @joleenferris of WKTV...

August 8, 2017 - Yesterday our Press Release went out. Today, the Utica Observer-Dispatch covers it No Hospital Downtown Group Forming Political Party, as do thers;

We believe a new day in politics is heading towards the Utica-area. Thank goes to the cabal's ill-conceived Downtown Utica, inner-city, hospital district. They had twenty years at nano, but they are not getting Downtown Utica!

No Studies, No Reports, thus we remain #NoHospitalDowntown
