Politics | Healthcare | Hospitals | Resources

National politics and healthcare are troubling for many. We believe most would agree our healthcare system and costs are very significant issues. Our group is about seeking answers; the studies and hard facts of what the Utica Hospital story is really about.

The following conversation will highlight national headlines that may be playing a role in this local story.

February 20, 2018 - Introduction paragraph with a local tie-in here (state national issue and a possible connect to our regional, local healthcare/hospital story)

Hospitals do not Rebuild Neighborhoods, not the ones the Yes Side has offered us. Many "old" hospitals are NOT abandoned. Utica is a poor city with Significant Issues, the hospital as an economic development tool is troubling. While healthcare should not be political, it also seems that the community should have a say on such a massive project, especially one relaying so heavily on taxpayers.

Please join our group #NoHospitalDowntown and add to our conversation. We are not anti-new hospital, we simply do not want their hospital concept in Downtown Utica. Here's Why We Oppose The Downtown Utica Hospital Concept and Many Agree!
