Great Oneida County Hospital Debate

May 30, 2018 - Utica, NY (Ray Jadwick with Joleen Ferris) THE CHALLENGE. It's a fantastic opportunity for both sides of the issue:

New MV Hospital (211 members)
vs.
#NoHospitalDowntown (4,102 members)

... to address the public on a level playing field, and, with proceeds being donated to a very worthy cause, the CNY Veterans Outreach, the debate would provide a great community service to all of Central New York.

While Anthony Brindisi is pictured here as team captain for the advocates, those supporting the downtown location would obviously be able to assemble their own team. Let's see if they have the courage to defend their position in a public forum.

All that's missing here is the date (some of CNY's top bands have already agreed to the event). I suggest a Sunday afternoon, and, in spite of WKTV's pro-downtown hospital bias, also suggest getting Joleen Ferris to moderate (it'll be an advantage for them, but with the facts on our side, one that we'll easily overcome).

Let's see what Brindisi, Picente, Palmieri, MVHS, MV Edge, and the Community Foundation are made of! Hell, we won't even object to Bill Keeler being on their team! In matter of fact, we'd relish it. SHARE this post to help get the challenge out there!
