We have been told by someone who knows the inside strategies behind the Hospital's Politics, the downtown concept is merely a "political temple". It's a big "shiny object", one that would propel the right politicians forward; in the name of new jobs, economic development, and transformational healthcare. However, peel beneath the shiny exterior of the concept, and we see it is none of these.
